My first hackathon

My first hackathon was the Vodafone Foundation’s mobile app hackathon on gender equality.

A few friends and I built Direniş Haritası, a mobile app concept intended to help people experiencing harassment safely reach out for support.

We ended up placing third.

It was my first experience building something with a team under the pressure of a competition, and the beginning of many more hackathons to come.
